DARKROOM FOR BEGINNERS
This workshop is for those approaching the world of the darkroom for the first time and aims to introduce the basic techniques of black and white printing.
WHAT WE DO
This is a hands on workshop. We'll start with how to use the enlarger and all the necessary equipment for black and white printing, then move on to prepare the chemical baths, make contact sheets and finally prints from b&w negatives.
WHAT YOU NEED
Although not necessary, participants are adviced to bring their own already developed and well exposed B&W negatives.

1 DAY, 10-2:30

The workshop is limited to a maximum of 4 participants.

The workshop can be conducted in either Italian or English.

TEACHER
Roberta Ridolfi
Roberta was born in Rome and studied photography at the London College of Communication. She then worked as a freelance photographer for various publications and international clients, including the New York Times, I-D, Zeit Magazine, Stella McCartney, and the British Film Institute.
